Asthma

Came late to office today. In fact to be honest, came half day. Arrived at office around 12pm. Iris has not been well again. Started off last nite with slightly high temperature, chesty, wheezing and very very cranky. I was surprised because the nite before she looked very much better already & her breathing sounded clear.
Then only I remembered her telling me that she had ice-cream at daycare earlier. "Kak Ain kasik ice-cream pink kat Sumayyah.. Sedap!" It must be the ice-cream that triggered again her asthma. Poor poor baby.
As a result, she slept early (to my surprise, around 10pm) but the phlegm kept disturbing her sleep. In fact I had to cuddle her in my arms until my back ached. Hubby had to work late last nite and when he arrived home, both of us were already in the dreamland.
Throughout the nite, Iris kept on waking up. And by the time it's morning, she felt feverish & started coughing badly. Sounded like a lot of phlegm but it just wouldn't come out. Hubby suggested we go to clinic again to get some medications to ease her pain.
True enough, Doctor said there's a lot of phlegm on her right lung and prescribed few medications including Ventolin.
By the time we got back from clinic, Iris looked much better already. I had to rush to office since I've got to prepare for a presentation tomorrow. Else I would have just taken urgent leave. Dropped Iris at her daycare after promising to fufill her request for today which was "Sumayyah nak makan kuey teow.. Kat restoran!"
