Stuffy Sunday

Woke up with a blocked nose this morning. I seriously thought i had gotten better already after we went to the clinic yesterday. *sigh*
Yesterday both me & hubby were feeling under the weather. Hubby with his flu & swollen tonsil while me with sore throat & cough. Little Iris obviously had recovered from her fever & asthma.. Alhamdulillah.
We went to the clinic after a hearty breakfast. On our way back, we bought some KFC for lunch. Hubby went straight for afternoon nap after taking lunch & his medication & i was entertaining Iris when Nuar, Munira & Wise came.
It has been quite sometimes since they last came. Iris & Wise seriously enjoyed each other's company playing Play-Doh while we chit-chat over tea, pasta, apam balik & cekmek (banyaknye makanan!)
Later Munira took the kids to the playground. I was about to join them when they came back. Munira bathed the kids & they went home shortly after coz it was about Maghrib already by then. To my surprise Hubby still didn't wake up. Obviously he was knocked out for 5 long hours due to the flu pill effect. Went to wake him up. On the other hand, Iris fell asleep right on the carpet. She must have felt so tired after one full day playing.
I felt relieved coz i thought she would sleep till morning. But not for long. Shortly an hour afterwards, she woke up crying & feeling extremely cranky. And she didn't sleep until very much later, about 2 in the morning. What a looooong Saturday!
